July 2005 - Truth Tour Week 2 - HILLSONG Sydney

Email Diary moments .... Week 2
Well here it is another Sunday ... and I am still alive and praising with a smile.
So week one was full on with schools (7000 kids) and a rally (4500 kids).
This week was totally different.

So the guys opened the Hillsong conference over the two meetings so there were 40 000 people there. Crazy. Then it just continued like that ... lots of time with amazing speakers, great ministry and alot of it. 5 and 6 am starts with late nights. This weekend was all go too. So needless to say we are excited to have a few days off before we start the INTENSE ministry in Redfern at the Block.
Thank you sooooo much for your prayers. I have had many days were I have pressed into God and felt you there with me. I feel SO HONOURED to be so amazingly supported by people of your calibre. Truly awesome. I often feel alone and isolated on missions but not this one. I feel connected to the power source JESUS (from a great word from Reinhart Bonnke last night) and surrounded by the love of invested people (from john Maxwell). heheheh ... now all I need to do is renew my mind like Joyce Meyer said and I will have it down!!

Okay so prayer points for this week:
· MINISTRY IN REDFERN - this is huge in so many ways. This is what this is all about for me ... this one week of investing in these kids the love that is permanent and true - Jesus!
· GRACE/WISDOM for ME - working with these guys and their great leader is challenging. We have had some good "challenges" and I really need God to lead me in humility, service and strength. It really makes all the difference if this communication and relationships is running well.
· FOR THE GUYS - that Redfern will be a time where God shows them a new truth about themselves and that they really press into Him.
· REST and HEALTH of the team - ALL OF US!! The schedule is huge and it is so easy to get attacked in these areas. The team is okay but it is early and they are soooo young. So getting sick leads to homesickness which is a huge barrier for ministry. So prayer into this is so important. Thats that ... Again ... thank you guys for it all. I love you so much.
