Wow what an incredible couple of weeks. It felt like everything happened and yet nothing really did. We are going through some of the biggest (most important - foundation) books of the bible = The Pentateuch or the first 5 books of the bible for all the normal people out there.
Genesis was great, just to see these normal people who did really incredible things out of a pure faith and they messed up alot too. Exodus was a rough time as I grieved for my friend who lost her great husband. The same day I found out about this death I also found out that someone had paid my fees for next charter. That is almost AUD$3000 (or $2250 US). Crazy. What a week but God was ever faithful. I got through the book and God showed me that He is bigger than any thing I can see or touch. He promised joy in the morning and it truly did come.
Leviticus is all about the law. I thought I would hate it but add it together with Hebrews and the depth of what Jesus did increased 100 fold. I encourage you do read them both together some time soon. Numbers was great because it was a retreat. We all got away and just rested. Normal Katie, once I stopped everything came to the surface so there wasen't a whole lot of resting but there was definitely restoration. Beautiful thing.
Now we are at Deuteronomy and I am so looking forwad to studying it. Just great fulfilment and life. The story of a leader's last words. I know I sound like a bible geek. heheheh. Only 4 more months.
As you can see from the picks I am surrounded by people who are as wacky as I am. I feel so blessed to be here, for this short time. They are all such great people and there is alot of fun to be had ... as much as I miss all of you ... just making the most of here. Judging creepy mustache month ... group chillin on Valentine's Day, Ice skating on the lake (yep on the big huge lake, I actually skated on it).
