When you have an important birthday, it is important to celebrate in style. This year, it was very important that my birthday, a gift from God through my beautiful parents, be celebrated appropriately.
What better celebration that an American Prom ... as so the idea was born (8 months ago) and yesterday it came to be. I was voted (on a ballet with only my name) Prom queen of my own Prom. My incredible father sent a very embarrassing video full of pictures I had never seen, nor care to see again. Then some friends did a great dance to the classic "Bye Bye" by the Backstreet Boys. Classic moment in my life.
Their dancing inspired the rest of us to boggie down ... which we did until the we hours. Everyone dressed up (yep EVERYONE) in prom attire, most people danced but the whole room had fun.
This was an incredible day in my life ... if only I could have combined the world to make sure that everyone could have been there. 2 days to my birthday and again, I just feel like the most blessed girl in the whole world. What a great life I have because of you and all my friends. There is all love!!
